This afternoon saw the nominees of the inaugural official Fashion Industry Awards South Africa being announced at a prestigious red carpet event at The Mall of Africa in Waterfall, Johannesburg.
In partnership with the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture of South Africa; The Fashion Forum Group will recognize, celebrate and honour innovators and creatives in fashion with industry awards set to take place for the first time later this year.
Launching at The Mall of Africa, the Fashion Industry Awards South Africa announced the purpose of the awards and showcased incredible creativity from local designers with the finest fashion installations to kick off what is set to be an annually held award ceremony.
Attended by a few guests and fashionistas online, whilst hosted by TV and radio personality- Lerato Kganyago. The Fashion Industry Awards South Africa also announced the various categories for this years’ inaugural award event.
