Get ready to embrace the thrill of outdoor festivitiesSot as the Seven Colours Movement, in partnership with Mahikeng FM, proudly presents the much-anticipated #AllBlackvsAllWhiteAffair. This inaugural event is set to make waves in Mahikeng, North West, and will be held on September 14, 2024, at the stunning Cooke’s Lake Resort. Not only will this mark the official kickoff to the spring and summer seasons, but it will also bring together a fusion of music, culture, and entertainment that truly represents the vibrant spirit of the North West.

As you prepare to mark your calendars, the exciting performance lineup promises an unforgettable experience. Leading the charge is Sjava, the multi-award-winning artist known for his soulful melodies. Joining him is the enchanting vocalist Simmy, the dynamic duo Blaq Diamond, and the beloved creators of ‘Ke fela pelo,’ ENCORE. To add to the star-studded affair, legendary Kwaito icon Zola 7 will take the stage, alongside the smooth tunes of Lulo Café and the charismatic David Mashabela of Radio 2000.

“The concept came long ago when we started the seven colours movement in 2022. So we started with theme month events every month since then, but early this year, we sat with my partners and Mahikeng FM because we wanted to incorporate both black and white. As you know, there have been events where they’d say it’s an all-white affair or an all-black affair, and we are hoping to see which colour is loved the most in events.
“We decided to choose Simmy and Sjava as our headliners because we wanted to bring Sun-El and Simmy on stage last year, but we rethought the idea. Also, with Sjava, many of the university students around North West love him so much, and they jam to his songs daily, so we wanted to bring their favourite artist to the province.”

But that’s not all! Fans of gospel will be treated to an uplifting performance by Teboho Moloi, while traditional Setwana music lovers can expect captivating sets from Dr. Vom and Mma Ausi. Rounding out the diverse roster are Mahikeng’s very own local stars, including Khanda Kool, Bayo Seyogilwe, DJ Big Boy, DJ Nine, Lesego DM, DJ Big Soul, DJ Kingstuz, and the Seven Colours Crew.

To ensure the crowd stays energized and entertained, the event will be hosted by a stellar team of MCs: Lebo Molax, Kea Leburu, Butter October, Mr. Nic, and Filoe Mfebe, all ready to keep the party going from start to finish.

As the 14th of September approaches, make sure you’re part of the buzz! Tickets are now available for purchase at Computicket, Shoprite, and Checkers. Don’t miss out on the #AllBlackvsAllWhiteAffair—an event that promises to be an unmissable celebration of music, culture, and togetherness.
