Dannywired family – Get ready to embrace the season of wonder and joy as Melrose Arch unveils its enchanting winter wonderland, the Melrose Arch Playground. This magical attraction, brought to you in collaboration with Clamber Club, promises a heartwarming experience for all ages during the school holidays.
Children can immerse themselves in a world of fun and adventure with a variety of activities, including a challenging obstacle course, a creative arts and crafts corner, a bouncy jumping castle, and a soft pond play area perfect for the little ones. Adding a splash of color to the festivities, a face painter will be on hand to transform kids into whimsical characters with vibrant designs.
After all the excitement, young adventurers will surely have a craving for something sweet, and a delightful array of treats awaits them. Indulge in delectable crêpes filled with Nutella, Kinder, Lotus, or rich milk and white chocolate from Ajay Whisks. Enjoy a signature Winterland-themed cupcake or sugar cookie, specially crafted for this event. Swirl Smashed & Rolled Ice Cream will also tantalize taste buds with a limited edition blue and white Melrose Arch Playground flavor, featuring bubblegum ice cream adorned with candy floss and glitter.
To make the experience even more memorable, Artjamming will host a slime-making workshop where kids can get their hands messy and unleash their creativity. Greenbusters, the unique toyshop known for its extraordinary selections, will showcase the trendy micro scooter, perfect for enhancing motor skills.
The Melrose Arch Winter Playground invites you every Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm at the Piazza, through Sunday, 7 July 2024. With admission at R50 per child per hour or R100 for unlimited play, it’s a magical experience not to be missed for children of all ages.
For the adults, the beloved Melrose Arch Market will take place in the Retail Galleria every Friday and Saturday from 10am to 3pm, offering a curated selection of goods and scrumptious treats.
